spoiler ahead
OK, if you’ve kept reading then here it is. Annakin Skywalker is Darth Vader! OK, so it’s not a spoiler, we’ve all known it for some time, but man did they do a good job of seaming up the storyline. My verdict, it was good and well worth the free ticket and time spent walking 6 blocks to the theater. It wasn’t my intention originally to go to the movie, but when I sat down to do some work last night, I realized and found the internet still wasn’t working in my hotel. That’s like the 4th hotel I’ve gotten screwed on the connectivity in. Somebody could make a mint going around fixing hotel internet. And get rid of all these different independent companies that manage them, they’re all so confusing. > OK, so I decided on a whim to try and see Star Wars, I then looked up the movie times on my phone, since no hotel internet. > Lucky for me I had my new man purse or murse. I threw my iPod, a book in case I had to wait and both my phones into it and took off, I had 10 or 40 minutes to get from 31st and 7th to 34th and 8th. OK, not a big deal. So I went, got in line, and the 8:30pm show sold out while in line…. damn, now I’ve got to wait for the 9pm show (it was 7:55) so the book wasn’t a bad idea. As I’m just about to get up to the counter, a little Jewish guy comes up and asks if I’m going to Star Wars, and he hands me a free ticket, it was good fortune for me. I think they bought a bunch and had extras. Score! Well, when all was said and done, I loved the movie, it was a good escape, and on the way home, My Hunny Bunny called and put in a wake up call. It was funny, then I went back and fell asleep to the soothing sound of fire trucks. Yah, that’s right, I’m on a low floor and there’s a firehouse across the street. TTFN.
