back home today, again. leaving tomorrow, again.

Today I said farewell to Boston and loaded up for Minneapolis. Very uneventful, except for the traffic, my headache and the lines at the airport. I think I’m going to attach a bike bell to the handle of my suitcase, lets see if that works. People just do not pay attention to what’s going on sometimes. It’s quite sad. I had a very polite cab driver, but man did he want to talk, and he had an accent, I was having a hard time understanding him, so I politely told him I needed to check my voicemail, which was true, but, I also listened to all my saved messages, the weather, the time, twice and finally the duck that quacks on AFLAC’s 800 number. I should have just put my iPod headphones on…
When I got to the airport, there were a group of people who were just lurking about and were very slow and scattered just far enough to not look like they’re together, but still close enough to talk and make it next to impossible and uncomfortable to pass between them. I’ll admit it, this kind of inconsideration (that’s a word, right? Yes it is, thanks Dashboard Dictionary), back to the matter. This kind of inconsideration drives me crazy, so I said something, “Would it be possible for you %$#@!s to spread out a bit more and block the whole concourse? Some people are still getting through?” ok, that’s what I’d like to say, it was actually “Would it be possible for you folks to stand to one side, so people can get through a little easier”. I got an attaboy from a timid business traveler 40ft later. And Finally, the headache, well you know that place called The Littlest Bar, I told you I was going to? Let’s just say, size isn’t everything. Thank You, Thank You, I’ll be here all week, literally.
