Well, we loaded out yesterday , beginning at 0700 and finishing around 1130. We headed back to the hotel for showers and lunch, then jumped on the bus for Cardiff at 1pm. We had to wait at the ferry dock until 1600 for the ferry, it was kind of cool, drinking beers and chatting with locals and such on the dock. We met a tour bus full of American High School students, and of course they wanted a tour of our awesome buses. There were even some girls from Wisconsin. All and all the ferry ride was cool for about 10 minutes, it was a sea cat with jet drive, so it was very smooth and very fast. After the ferry we rode from about 6pm until 12am to get to Cardiff. I basically took a nap and watched TV, it was hard to sleep for some reason, oh well, I see sleep in my near future anyhow. Well, back to work! Cheers from Cardiff, Wales, United Kingdom.

road trip!

Well, it’s finally my day off, and we’re just about to head out. It’s a beautiful sunny day and it’s about 65 degrees out. We’re heading to Powerscourt, Glendalough, Brooklodge for Horseback Riding and finally to Johnny Foxes for a bit of dinner and drinks. I can’t wait to go, so I’m doing so now. Pictures later…

The people in the pictures are as follows(From Left to Right):Clay from TNA/Clear Channel; Eugene from Ireland, our shuttle driver and runner; Glen and Laura from Toronto/Clear Channel; Alison from TNA/Clear Channel; Jon Boss from CAT power; Dori from Production (my office); and me. I had to set the timer and run, so that’s why I appear somewhat out of place.

mini-bar

(n) (MINN-ee-Bar) - The only inanimate object capable of rape.

Thought of this after good news of a wage increase for crew and the comments made about how people were going to ravage their mini-bars tonight. Apparently it was retroactive, so they get an extra bit of money.
