Right Here, Right Now

I’m back in Minneapolis for a couple of days. And to the delight, I hope, of my fans I have made a pledge to try and create daily entries at the minimum. This way, you all can have a glimpse into the sometimes fabulous life that I’ve been living. That being said, it’s actually quite monotonous and boring. OK, that’s an overdramatization. So what have I been doing? Well, I was breathing, didn’t you read the last post? Actually we went through a whirlwind for the last couple weeks of the European leg and that kept me pretty busy and hot, because we were in Italy, Spain and Portugal. I’ll create posts for those parts of the journey when I have some more sit down time. We’ve already started the second US leg of the tour. So I’ll also recap on that, but for now, sit tight, I’m back and hopefully my fingers can keep up with my mouth. You see, I talk while I type, I find it helps me to stay on task and it keeps people away because I look crazy.

Markus. Always playing games. This one’s called peekaboo.

Jen and my sweet condo from the outside. Had to throw it in, because the clouds were decent.

Krista and I went to Brody’s house this morning, and he made me French Toast. It was excellent, and well presented. I then got to play a little with Xander, and be mean to him according to Brody. B’s house is pretty cool and he’s got a lot of neat little “extras”. He’s working on the landscaping, and he’s already got some sort of rock sculpture in the driveway, but I don’t believe him, I think that’s just a pile of rocks to use elsewhere. We played with his remote control fireplace and that was pretty neat, I’ll have to get one of those someday. After that Krista and I drove to Best Buy (BBY) in Rockford. I was able to get my new camera and it’s the sweetest. I have almost full control of every aspect. The only downside I’ve noticed this far is the lack of a strictly optical viewfinder, this really only makes a difference when you’re shooting at high speed, which I don’t do often, so I’m not worried about it. After that we went to Daiten’s soccer game at racetrack, and I got to watch my Nephews team(Green) beat the heck out of those Blue Baddies. Daiten even scored 2 goals, but one was deemed a “foul”. He took it in stride, and man is he quite good. He should prove quite entertaining in all competition. I figure I’ve gotten until he’s 10 to dominate, and then I’ll stop playing to prevent being beaten by him. It’s worked in the past, hopefully it still has that charm. Pictures Follow, or do they proceed…’blogs are weird that way.

Good with the ball, not so good with the laces.

Xander, so pouty sometimes, but so darn cute.

Bringing the ball in for the second goal, and the tongue again.

I’d probably have a similar look if I had to poop a soccer ball too. What can I say, the kid’s photogenic.
