When you have a mo’

Posted in T.D.C. by josh on the October 8th, 2005

So an entry in this category has been long overdue, so I thought I’d drop in a few notes that I can remember since the last post. First, today’s winner. I get a call and am asked, “When you get a mo’, could you come down” I of course had to assume “mo” was short for moment, and possibly she ran out of breath, or her hat was going to fall off if she expelled any more air. Next up is when she made a request for a program that she needed to take dictation. She was flustered and couldn’t remember the name, so she starts rattling off a few, “iRead”, “iSpeak” wait, “iThink”… To me, it sounded like that’s just what was happening, but apparently, the program “iListen” had been confused with “iThink”, the program being asked for by so many like her… always a smile when I get to help her.
