We have a tent set up outside the stadium for international press, as Brussels, Belgium is the inaugural show for the European Leg. The requested a tent, wireless internet and power. Some of the press are here today for interviews, and they had one more request. “Can you do anything about the wind?” Jake just raised his hands toward the sky, indicating who they could speak to about the wind. After a long and arduous abduction by beings from the planet glarthot in the Alpha Centauri system, I return. I awoke this morning in my hotel room, confused and sore. Currently I’m in Chicago, and it’s been pretty good to us thus far. The weather is nice. The venue is decent and the hotel has a great view of the sears tower for me. I’m excited for tomorrow, because we have a soccer game at Soldier Field and it should be a good time. It’s gone from being a simple grudge match between lighting and the merchandise guys to a full blown event. We’re having food, prizes, an announcer and possibly some celebrity appearances… The last couple and tonight’s show have been getting recorded by a video crew for a DVD, and that’s been a challenge for everyone on the crew. After waiting in line behind 40 people in catering, I ended up with a sandwich and a cookie. It was a good sandwich, but normally there’s no line and a lot more food. Oh well, they’re gone tomorrow, and we can resume the normal operation. Well, gotta get retro posting, so ttfn.
