from the bus

I saw a blind girl reading a braille machine on the bus, it was pretty cool, except that it was huge, but I understand that. I was thinking though….

“Blind people can read braille, and that’s pretty cool, they can read while they’re driving.”

I also passed a salon today that I pass on the later buses home, it’s called The Chair. I’m thinking to myself, “I wonder if the lights dim when they cut your hair.” I guess I’d really worry if they sponged down your hair before they sit you down.

thumbs up to readyboost

ok, so i wouldn’t have believed it, in fact i didn’t. i couldn’t understand how plugging a flash drive into your windows vista computer would actually make it faster. then i read the “faq” on the subject, it makes perfect sense. i have to admit i have been working on the machine and it seems fine, i also have to admit i was pounding on it by having three different browsers, ms word 2007, html-kit, filezilla, ssh and windows media player all running at the same time. it does make a difference and hats off to you microsoft for giving us yet another reason to keep carrying that usb drive in our pocket. now if only notebook, desktop and motherboard manufacturers will take this into account and build an internal or protected slot where i can put the thing and leave it….. Asus? Tyan? who will answer first? it will probably be emachines or something…
